We will be taking every precaution to keep attendees safe at all times and encourage any dancer who may be experiencing symptoms of illness to alert the 1820 Dance Ltd. team immediately.

We encourage all dancers to practice standard personal hygiene best practices (ie: wearing deoderant, washing their hands before meals etc.). Each participant should come prepared with their own water bottle and healthy snacks.

Thank you for adhering to the protocol outlined above. We appreciate your diligence and understanding, and we will do our best on our end to ensure the safety of all attendees.

General.

Please review the outlined information to ensure you’re fully aware of any risks associated with attending the 1820 Dance Convention and Competition.

 

All participants understand and agree that in participating in any dance class, audition or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury or death. Participants voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur during any of the 1820 DANCE CONVENTION classes, auditions, performances, or activities.

1820 DANCE CONVENTION and its owners, employees, assistants, volunteers, guest artists, and/or students are exempt from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, or death to participants and attendees which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any classes or activities conducted by 1820 DANCE CONVENTION.

All participants and attendees must alert 1820 DANCE Ltd. of any and all medical conditions and allergies on their registration form.

1820 DANCE CONVENTION, dance instructor(s), employee(s), contractors, agents, partners and the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel are exempt from any and all liability arising from or in connection with all attendees and participants participation in the 1820 DANCE Ltd. events.

All participants and attendees are required to follow directions of the 1820 DANCE CONVENTION faculty and rules for participation in the 1820 DANCE CONVENTION and COMPETITION.

All registration payments are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by the event organizers. At which point, refunds will be made within 14 days post event (minus PayPal processing fee). There will be no refunds in the event the attendee cancels or if the dancer is unable to attend.
